Radio (AWTR), developed specifically for army wives, will be debuting
April 18, Crooks has been
“married to the military” for seven years now. She has
a passion for educating and providing a sense of community to other
army wives. “In this day and age of war and deployments, many
wives are left on their own to be, not only a wife and a mother,
but also to become a financial advisor and an expert of lawn maintenance,”
Crooks said. “Becoming a new spouse to a soldier, moving to
a new installation, or running a household on your own can be, at
the least, stressful. Many wives are left to their own devices with
little or no support,” she continued. Army Wife Talk Radio hopes to be the internet resource for army wives across the globe. “We welcome your comments and suggestions on our listener’s line. We are here for you,” Crooks said. If you would
