Press Release Body = Guilford, CT (July 26, 2005) INTAgLIO has announced a partnership with Athletic QuestÒ, Salt Lake City, to provide a new cost-effective recruiting system for athletes who want to play college sports.

Athletic Quest is a recruiting system, not a recruiting service. Athletes and their parents follow a step-by-step process for matching their academic and athletic skills with the right college program. They become self-sufficient in developing and executing their own plan in a milestone fashion during their four years in high school. The concept was developed through collaboration with hundreds of high school and college coaches who experienced frustration from the recruiting process.

“People are very uninformed about college athletics”, said John Scott, Founder/Owner of Athletic Quest. “90% of college coaches obtain the majority of their recruits in a specific region. Athletes have to let them know that they’re interested in their programs. There are many opportunities if you know where to look. Our program helps athletes to find colleges. Most importantly, we educate athletes on what it takes to play college sports, what level you can play at and how to market yourself correctly.”

The system also benefits high school athletic departments who want to offer a high-value service to their athletes. According to George Libbon, College Athletic Director and former Pac 10 coach, “If this system were available when I was coaching, the recruiting experience would have been a lot easier for all involved”.

Athletic Quest maintains the largest online library of it’s kind with information on 2,300 college programs. An annual subscription of only $125 for the primary sport includes an online player profile, favorite colleges repository, an Official College Recruiting Book, videos for additional instruction, and a College Competition Evaluation Form.

The Evaluation Form rates the level of college competition at which an athlete will have the best chances of playing (NCAA I, II, III, NAIA or Junior College). “It is legitimate,” said Jeff Arbogast, President of the National Federation of High School Coaches Association. “I review hundreds of recruiting companies a year and keep files on all of them. The Athletic Quest system is by far the best thing out there. It can help any high school athlete get to the next level if they use this system.”

According to INTAgLIO president, John Bernardi, “In addition to eliminating the frustration of sending out impersonal resumes, form letters, videos, making cold
calls, or hoping to hear from college coaches, it can open the door for students to attend high caliber colleges because these schools want well-rounded students. 40% of student-athletes receive some form of academic scholarship. We are happy to offer this service to student athletes”.
