The Motley Crue
star video taped three songs from his new album, live at Capital

bassist Marty
O'Brien (Disturbed, Static-X). Phil X also wrote one of the tracks
on Tommy’s new album, ‘Tired,’ in which Tommy
lampoons his own celebrity and pays tribute to his
famous ex, Pamela Anderson.
Tommyland: The
Ride hits store shelves on Aug 9th. The album’s release is
in conjunction with his new reality show, ‘Tommy Lee Goes
To College’, which begins
airing in on NBC, August 16th. The album is a collection of rock-driven
tunes, infused with pop and electronica, charting the fables of
romance, celebrity and life
in general. Tommyland is his third solo album.
Tommyland: The
Ride features guest performances by Chad Kroeger (Nickelback), Deryck
Whibley (Sum 41), Slash (Guns & Roses, Velvet Revolver), Joel
Madden (Good
Charlotte), and Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. Also lending a hand
is Fuel's Carl Bell and Something Corporate vocalist Andrew McMahon.
