Press Release Body = OCTOBER 17, 2005 – Oxford, UK – SportsBrandedMedia, a NY based
sports product placement company will represent Yamgo’s extreme sports mobile TV
series Freechasing and its mobile content production and publishing services to
companies in the USA.
The initial Freechasing mobile TV series comprises of ten 90 second films optimized
for high bandwidth mobile phones with a shorter version targeted at mid range phones
with MMS capabilities. Each film incorporates a different sport and in some cases‘world first’ extreme sports stunts, which will be shown first on mobile phones.
Yamgo is pioneering interactive mobile TV by enabling the films to be passed from
one mobile phone to another to enable consumers to collect each film in the series
from their friends using Bluetooth, email or MMS on their phone. The captivating
and unique content of the films will stimulate distribution of the Freechasing
mobile TV series. The series will be available via global network operators,
internet download and leading mobile content retailers.
Commenting on Freechasing, Yamgo CEO Ian Mullins said “Freechasing captures the
essence of sports, namely adrenalin and social interaction. Each film offers
advertisers a unique opportunity to brand equipment with their logo, have their
product integrated into a film or sponsor the production of a complete film as a
mobile TV advertisement. We are delighted to be working with SportsBrandedMedia who
will offer the Yamgo product placement and sponsorship opportunities to companies in
the USA” John Meindl, SportBrandedMedia President, stated, “Yamgo offers a one
stop shop solution for creation, production and delivery of powerful product
placement opportunities for sports brands.”
The Mobile TV market is expected to have over 1 billion wireless devices by 2006
that are capable of downloading and viewing mobile multimedia, ranging from low end
devices that can play Java or MMS videos to high-end devices that can play full
length movies. Yamgo is positioned to take advantage of the new opportunities
presented by the emergence of interactive mobile entertainment and work with
