The PV290 DSK incorporates a host of industrial grade features starting with twelve discreet visual inputs including a Main and an Aux. RGB in for each panel, plus three composite and three S-video inputs. This allows for a main multichannel computer, plus additional devices, such as networked workstations, laptops, VCR, DVD, teleconference, cable television monitoring, plus closed circuit and satellite feeds.There are also three selectable stereo audio inputs feeding a sound system built into the base of the display, strategically located for the best binaural effect.
The discreetly hidden volume control is manual rather than electronic for instant and direct adjustment. The central control cluster features main on/off switch as well as push button controls for each panel.\"One-Touch \"manual switching of an input source on the right panel, for example, is as easy as pressing a single button.
The display base includes a 12V utility power supply for devices such as a teleconference camera, while the top of the display features a level surface for positioning the camera at any location. The back of the unit features a single umbilical cable connecting to an external control box. This leaves the workspace uncluttered and unfettered from masses of individual cables that support the many inputs and outputs running up the back of the desk to the display.
