Women Presidents of $50 Million Companies Meet
Barbara Roberts To Facilitate Zenith Group of Women Presidents’ Organization
NEW YORK – The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and the Women’s Business
Enterprise National Council (WBENC) have named Barbara Roberts as Facilitator of the “Zenith Group,” which are women-owned businesses with revenues of $50 million and
above. Roberts is best known as President and CEO of FPG International, a New York
stock photography agency she took from $7 to $45 million and sold in 1997 for $60
million. The Zenith Group, which brings together women presidents from across the
country, meets twice during the year, once on the East Coast and once on the West
Coast.
Marsha Firestone, Ph.D., president and founder of the WPO, said, “WPO and WBENC
launched the Zenith Group to achieve three objectives: to provide WPO members with
cutting edge information and strategies for successful and fast growth companies, to
provide them high level business meetings and business development opportunities
with Fortune 1000 companies, and to change the way women-owned businesses are
perceived by the media..”
“I am looking forward to facilitating the Zenith Group,” said Roberts. “These
influential and powerful women are destined to drive business breakthroughs that
will affect the U.S. economy.”
