Team Up to 'Grow' the "Blooming Marketer Education/Scholarship Fund."


Fort Lauderdale, FL February 1, 2006, The Florida Direct Marketing Association
(FDMA) teams up with top notch florist, EdenFlorist.com to grow the "Blooming
Marketer Education/Scholarship Fund." The partnership is set-up to raise monies for
small scholarship assistance and provide educational stipends to local tri-county
(Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade, FL) area students and faculty. Oftentimes,
college students and faculty would like to expand their learning by attending
outside educational seminars, but lack the additional funding to attend such events.
This is how the genesis of this unique partnership with EdenFlorist.com evolved.

Keith Fletcher, President of the FDMA, states "This is a great opportunity for
everyone to do two positive things at once. People are buying flowers for that
special person in their lives for Valentine's Day or other occasions, so they might
as well buy them where the purchase benefits the education of students via a
scholarship. Even if you are in Alaska or Hawaii and buying flowers, you can help
make a difference."

Heidi Richards, owner, of EdenFlorist.com and international speaker is a marketing
aficionado teaching tips and techniques to everyone she meets. Her avid devotion to
nourishing the minds of others and her community involvement is one of her best

The "Blooming Marketer Education/Scholarship Fund" will also seek to provide small
scholarship assistance to students to further their marketing education degrees.
The amount of funding will depend on the total sales from flowers, balloons, or
fruit/gift baskets sold. Ten percent of all sales revenue that comes into
EdenFlorist.com via phone, Internet, or in person, with the promotion or source code
of "FDMA" will go toward 'growing' the "Blooming Marketer Education/Scholarship
