Administrative Professionals Week Teleseminar on Persuasive Communication
Admins and Executive Assistants constantly face the challenge of influence without authority. They must persuade others to co-operate with them in order to get things done. \"How to Get People to Do What You Want--without Bribery, Blackmail or a Magic Wand!\" is a teleseminar designed to help them do that.
Toronto, Canada - April 12 - Professional speaker Helen Wilkie is conducting a special teleseminar on persuasive communication to celebrate Administrative Professionals Week, which begins on April 24.
One of the most challenging aspects of an administrative or executive assistant\'s job is getting the co-operation of others without the authority to demand it, so in this teleseminar Wilkie will tell participants \"How to Get People to Do What You Want --- without Bribery, Blackmail or a Magic Wand!\"
The teleseminar will take place on Tuesday, April 25 from 3 - 4 p.m. Eastern Time. Registration includes a recording of the call on CD, so those who can\'t take part in the live event can still gain the benefits of the program. All the details can be found at http://www.mhwcom.com/pages/magicwand.html or by calling Wilkie at 416-966-5023.
The administrative profession has been in a constant state of change over the past ten years, driven mainly by technology. According to the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), the job of an \"admin\" now requires skills in management functions and technology, including project management, Internet communication and research, customer service, public relations and more.
\"Although their job scope has widened considerably, the authority given to admins to get the co-operation and input of others has not kept up,\" says Wilkie. \"So they still face the challenge of influencing without authority.\" She created this teleseminar to provide participants with information and techniques to help them over this particular professional hurdle.
