About Farncombe Estate Centre

Catherine Wyatt is a postgraduate student at the University of Birmingham
researching and editing the music of Alessandro Stradella for publication.
Experienced singer, Catherine has performed with many choirs including Birmingham
University Singers, visiting Poland in 2002 for the Universitas Cantat Festival.
Catherine co-leads the University Philharmonic Orchestra and has led the University
Chamber Orchestra. As a chamber musician, has participated in master classes with
the Schubert Ensemble and the Endellion Quartet at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts
and the Purcell Room. In 1997 Catherine was a finalist in the National Young
Composer of the competition and has had her work performed in Salisbury Cathedral.

From its 300-acre location situation based in the North of the Cotswolds, the
Farncombe Estate Centre offers a broad range of courses designed to stimulate the
body and mind. The centre offers spectacular views of the Cotswolds and aims to free
guests from the pressures of busy city lives allowing them to focus on their
studies. In addition to these individual pursuits the estate caters for business
getaways with team-building activities.

Students have the opportunity to stay onsite within one of the 54 en-suite bedrooms.
Outside of studies, guests are free to enjoy an array of leisurely activities
