Dale Nelson of Veterans Affairs named Mi-Co User of the Year

Press Release Body = Research Triangle Park NC. Mi-Co, the mobile data capture company, presented the User of the Year Award to Dale Nelson of the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the Awards Assembly during the Mi-Co User Days event.
Mr. Nelson serves as Chief Information Officer in addition to severing as Chief Information Technology Service (ITS) for the Fayetteville VA Medical Center in Arkansas. Mr. Nelson began his career with Department of Veterans Affairs as a contract information technology specialist and was subsequently promoted to CIO in 2001. Dale has been working with database design criteria, data collection methods, report generation processes, electronics and computer systems since 1976.

At the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville and other facilities throughout the South Central Veterans Healthcare Network, the Mi-Forms System will be used to monitor the environmental safety of the patient treatment facilities and their associated outpatient clinics.
Commenting on his use of the Mi-Co technology, Dale stated that "With Mi-Forms we can now accomplish in three months what it used to take three years to do".
