Press Release Body = A recording studio opened in Southlake, Texas in the DFW metroplex in November of 2005. Studios at Southlake is reviving musicians\' budgets everywhere by taking over 16 years of experience, combining it with low overhead, and slaying the competition with affordable hourly rates. "It is sad to see such talent compromised because of budget issues." There are many who end up compromising their recording because of budget restraints. "Most don\'t understand how much time it takes." Depending on the project, it can take anywhere from 10-20 days to be ready for mastering on a full length CD. "Some just can\'t pay $80-100/hr for a studio." Our studio rate is $40/hr and our output product is excellent. "If we were in this to make money, we would still be in Nashville, but we are home now." We know how it feels to want to have your music say something only to have it choked out by budget limitations. Raised in Texas but trained at Belmont University and in various studios of Nashville, Kyle McMurray brings his talents back home in an era that recording can be done anywhere. For their convenience, S@SL clients can be recorded at the venue or in the studio. We have recorded at live gigs, in churches, in the studio; we even recorded one client in a hotel hallway. "I can\'t believe that a men\'s bathroom could sound so good." We want to capture the recording when the artist is most comfortable. If that means in a recording space that they are familiar with, then we go to them. There are great recording spaces out there other than the conventional "studio lab" setting. Our job is to catch that on tape no matter the location. Then we take it back to the studio to mix. Go to studiosatsouthlake.com to find out what we can do for you.
