Press Release Summary = The Mortgage Refunds Mortgage Free for a Year Competition is on again, with entries now being sought from all over Australia.
Press Release Body = FREE MORTGAGE ANYONE?
Entries are now open for the Mortgage Refunds Mortgage Free for a Year Competition, run annually by Australian cash-back mortgage broking firm, Mortgage Refunds.
Every year, the company\'s philanthropic Managing Director, Mr. Jason King, chooses one lucky Australian household and pays their mortgage for a whole year.
Mr. King says that the value of the prize is unlimited, but for the average Australian homeowner could be as much as $20,000.
All contestants have to do is tell Mr. King why they deserve to be mortgage free for a year:
\"I\'m looking for submissions from all over the country, and want to hear especially from people who are in a position of hardship.\"
\"If you know someone who could really do with a break from their mortgage payments, please tell me about them,\" urges Mr. King.
Mr. King has run his Mortgage Refunds Mortgage Free for a Year Competition since 2004, with winners usually announced just before Christmas.
His motivation for running the competition is a desire to give something back to the community which has helped drive the company's rapid
growth:
\"For most people, their biggest financial commitment is their mortgage, so I figure this is a gift that really means something.\"
Last year\'s winner was Ms. Wendy Charters, of Geelong in Victoria, who was thrilled with her Christmas present. She says:
\"Winning the \"Mortgage Refunds Mortgage Free for a Year\" has been such a wonderful relief.\"
Mortgage Refunds, established in 2002, was Queensland\'s first major cash back mortgage broker, and now operates throughout regional and metropolitan Australia.
Borrowers who use Mortgage Refunds\' free service can receive up to $4000 in cash, and may also be eligible for other incentive schemes such as fuel rebates.
