As Vice President (Asia Pacific Sales), Netgear, Ian McLean said, "India is a huge
market for us and to cater to this growing India market, we are putting greater
resources in the Indian market. We already have a strong presence among the home and
medium enterprise market and products like VPN, SSN, Gigabit stackable switches with
10 G options will further enhance our market share. In the last 30 months or so, we
have successfully added a number of clients in India and further want to increase
the number."

The company further wants to invest in manpower development to meet the growing
demand in the Indian market. It will be focusing more on VPN and Security products
this year. The company is targeting to close at 18-20 percent of the market share by
the end of the year. The main segments that the company will be focusing on are SMB
and retail.

Netgear also just completed a hugely successful 21-city nationwide training
programme for its channel partners. Giving more details on it Country Manager,
Netgear Technologies, India and SAARC region, Yogesh Kumar Sharma said, "The 21 city
training programme was a huge success and we received participation from over 1000
partners. Channel partners were given hands on training and live demo of future
technology products."

"Our focus is to target not only the metropolitan markets but also to penetrate the
B and C category cities through innovative marketing and promotional campaigns such
as road shows", he added.

Netgear India has already doubled its revenues in 2005 over the previous year and
expects better growth in the current financial year in India and in the entire SAARC
region. It is also strengthening its technical support help line toll free number to
enhance its customer care services.
