Speaking to itVARnews, Vice President, ACMA, Kaushik Pandya said, "The IT expo will showcase all the IT products and will see participation of all the big IT companies and dealers, not only from Ahmedabad but from adjoining cities as well. Our previous IT exhibitions ACMA IT SHOW 2004 & 2005 were grand success. Almost all the vendors in the IT industry participated directly or through channel. We intend to continue the same success story with ACMA IT SHOW 2006."
The event will be inaugurated by a prominent leader of national or state level and is looked upon as one of the largest technology show in Ahmedabad. The association is expecting over 150 stalls of various sizes i.e. A, B, C sizes and is targeting an audience of about 2 lakh to 3 lakh. It will register participation from almost all the Hardware, Software and IT related services companies.
The entire area of exhibition will be made Wi-Fi, which will be sponsored by Netgear. ACMA will publicize the event through large-scale media campaign including hoardings, News paper advertisements, Channel advertisement, Banners, Posters, Invitation cards etc.
"This expo will offer great opportunity to all manufacturers, vendors and suppliers to promote their products and reach markets otherwise difficult to reach. We also plan to address difficult to reach markets like home and education and plan to address students and parents by having technology based presentations.
