ATC Appoints New Advisory Board and Executive Committee Members, Makes Changes to Board of Directors

Press Release Body = Austin, Texas (October 16, 2006) - Austin Technology Council (ATC), a member-driven association focused on promoting the growth and success of Austin\'s technology sector, announced today that it has appointed two new members to its Executive Committee and three members to its Advisory Board. The two new members joining ATC's Executive Committee are Brian Wong, CEO of D2Audio, and Isaac Barchas, Director, the IC2 Institute of the University of Texas. The appointed Advisory Board Members are Mihir Ravel, entrepreneur, David Anderson, chief executive officer of SEMATECH's Advanced Technology Development Facility (ADTF), and Arjuna S. Sanga, Associate Vice Chancellor, Office of Research and Technology Transfer, The University of Texas System.
In addition, Austin Technology Council has made changes to its Board of Directors. Pike Powers and Jimmy Treybig have become Emeritus ATC Board Members and Dan Sullivan will continue as the Board Chairman for an additional 6 months.

Board members are appointed for three years.
Brian Wong has more than 24 years of experience in executive and general management, marketing, and the development of mixed signal products and semiconductors. Mr. Wong is the president and CEO of D2Audio Corporation, a leader in digital audio ICs and audio enhancement technology for digital media applications. Before joining D2Audio, Mr. Wong was CEO of Primarion Inc., a digital power management and optical I/O company. Prior to Primarion, Mr. Wong served for 17 years at TRW, where he was manager the Mixed Signal Products business.
Isaac Barchas is the Director of the Austin Technology Incubator, a division of the IC2 Institute of the University of Texas at Austin. Before coming to ATI in April of 2006, Barchas was an associate principal with McKinsey & Company, an international management consultancy. He sits on the boards of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, the AusTech Alliance, and the advisory board for the central Texas region of the state's Emerging Technology Fund. Barchas holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford and master's and law degrees from the University of Chicago.
