Launching the event, Manager Marcom - Rashi Peripherals, Navinder Chauhan said, "Last year Rashi took CBF 2005 (Channel Business Forum 2005) to 39 cities in India and thanks to the support channel community gave to CBF, it became the biggest IT event of the year 2005".
Chauhan further continued, "This year we are pleased to launch 'Digital Vision 2006 and Beyond' which will take the message of digital convergence happening at our offices, home and not to forget a new industry which is shaping up- the PC gaming industry. Digital Vision 2006 & beyond is an event which will be showcasing future technology and will cover 40 cities in 72 days all over India".
More than 200 channel partners were present to witness the launch of DVB 2006. Also present at the launch were Jeffery - Product Manager South Asia (Asus), Raghuraman, Country Manager and category head Notebooks (HP), Kavita Nath, Marcom Manager (Logitech), Kerman Rana, Director sales (Netgear) and Alain Tiquet, Group Director Marketing EMEA and India (NVIDIA) supporting DVB initiative.
The participating vendor guest shared their thoughts about the Digital Vision and what is stored from us in the future, elaborating and supporting on DVB initiative.
CEO -Rashi Peripherals, K. K. Choudhary summarized the event and presented vote of thanks to the participating vendors, channel partners present. Choudhary also appreciated and thanked the media, which was present at the launch event for their support for DVB initiative.
