Press Release Body = \"New Film set to stir up controversy over out of control Antisocial-behaviour\". One of the recent new trends in film making all over the world are the independently financed and produced films. These types of films do not have the gloss and the high budgets of Hollywood made movies - but what they have in abundance is imagination, a fresh perspective on making films and the kind of brilliant creativity that transcends its budget. The creative freedom that independent films bring is what is luring first time directors and even some seasoned film veterans to try their hand in independent filmmaking. And for the most part, the results of these endeavors have been very favorably received by movie fans all over the world. One British independent film that is creating quite a stir is Vince Pike\'s Antisocial Behaviour. The film, which was shot with a budget of just £100,000, was filmed over a period of three years. Vince Pike describes Antisocial-Behaviour as a \"teen horror for adults.\" The suspense thriller tells the story of Jakob Kelser (Played by David Watkins), a lonely man who lives in a run down house located at the edge of a council estate. Kelser\'s patience is pushed to the brink because of the torment and abuse he continually gets from local youths. Kelser finally breaks and decides to bring some semblance of order in his life by taking revenge on his tormentors. The yobs disappear one by one only to face death at the hands of Kelser. The themes that the movie tackles - mainly the effects of antisocial behaviour and the scourge brought on by youth delinquents - are what is creating a lot of buzz around it. An escapist fare like the said film can be seen as a wish fulfillment (although taken to the very extreme) of the eradication of this social problem. Pike himself said that he has talked to a lot of people and they say that they can sympathise with the situation Kesler got himself in. Pike, 36, is a first time director whose main profession is internet designer. In true indie fashion, Pike himself wrote, directed, produced and edited the film. Even the casting for the movie was done in a very unique fashion as Pike encouraged anyone who is interested in the film to email their photos and full contact details for possible roles in the movie. Pike said that he did this in order to further drive home realism to the audience. Antisocial-Behaviour is set to premiere on 11th December 2006 to the cast and crew of the film, many of whom have not yet seen the movie. A select few are also invited to grace the event. Pike said that he is now actively looking for companies who can facilitate the worldwide distribution of his debut film and help bring the movie to a wider audience not only in the UK but also to the rest of the world.
