Press Release Author = REVEAL Worldwide
Industry = Management
Press Release Summary = REVEAL Worldwide, a leader in interactive marketing, has launched REVEALWrite, a program designed to offer its proprietary network and services to writers. With this new program, REVEAL will empower artists with the same tools formerly reserved for corporate clients and major brands.
Press Release Body = Long recognized as a source of innovative marketing strategies and talented event staff, REVEAL Worldwide has made a unique move that has shaken the industry. It has turned its workers into clients.
This is how it happened:
While growing rapidly both in reputation and revenue as an event marketing company, REVEAL noticed that their growing database of available event staff was way more than just temporary workers.
"I was speaking with Cody (Peters, a REVEAL Talent Network member) and he told me about a book he had just written." Says Eric Schwartz, Chief Operating Officer; "I asked if he would send it to me out of sheer curiosity. When I received and read the book, I was blown away. I wondered 'Are we underestimating the talent of our staff?' Is there more here than just a great group of Brand Ambassadors?"
Schwartz then led a research study, driven by REVEAL's TrendSpeak system that sought out and observed the unnoticed talent of its core staff.
"It was unquestionable and remarkable." Schwartz says, "We had, lying dormant before our very eyes, many very talented writers in the ranks of out talent network."
REVEAL then made a unique move. The REVEAL Talent Network, which is renowned for its success as event staff for clients, would now have the opportunity to become clients themselves. The staff in their network was invited, through the REVEALWrite program, to submit their work to a dedicated division of the REVEAL Creative Team for analysis and the development of fully engaged marketing programs.
The first release from REVEALWrite is Moist September by Cody Peters, an astonishing book of poetry. "This is so exciting.," says Nick Pandoursky, Senior Project Coordinator at REVEAL. "Besides its obvious benefit to our staff, it is an awesome study to see how the tools that successfully drive commercial brands and their marketing efforts will translate to promoting products of the arts. We are very lucky to be gifted with such wonderful people who have made this possible."
To support this venture in its early stages, REVEAL has chosen to utilize the services of Lulu, an online publishing house whose services range from graphic design to worldwide distribution.
This move has turned many heads in the industry as people wait to see how this unique experiment develops. Will the tools used for promoting brands be successful at promoting writers? This is certainly a question that is unique to the industry. When asked about the endeavor, poet Cody Peters said, "I've never been much of a businessman, so my writing has mostly been kept in volumes of books shoved into various drawers." When asked what he expects from his new "agents", Cody replied, "I guess we'll see what happens."
I think that this comment is eponymous with the sentiment of the entire industry. We'll see what happens.
