Press Release Body = New Orleans, LA December 13, 2006 - After much debate about where to produce their next project, the former New Orleans based production company, Doorway Entertainment has decided to return to their home town to make their film, "No Exit." The movie will be shot entirely in the city with production scheduled for January and February of 2007.
"No Exit" is a thriller loosely based on the famous French play "Huis Clos" by Jean-Paul Sartre. It explores the darker nature of relationships as a couple gets trapped in a room where they blindly torture each other by prodding each other's past sins, desires, and horrible memories.
The film will be the second installment from Doorway Entertainment. Their first production "Feral" - the last movie shot entirely on location in St. Bernard Parish - a suburb of New Orleans - before being devastated by Hurricane Katrina, is set for release in 2007 - www.feralmovie.com.
Co-owners Merrill Capps and Britt Pitre are eager to continue being a part of the growing film industry in Louisiana. "We both miss New Orleans and we are excited to make this project back home," Pitre said.
