Press Release Author = Daniela Corso
Industry = Telecommunications
Press Release Summary = Partnering with txtNation has allowed PhatTonez to solidify their position as the best and most original place to by tones online.
Press Release Body = It's now seven years since James Winsoar first had that spark of inspiration that led him to launch the first ringtone customising business back in 1999.
PhatTonez officially made it into the history books when a prestigious Yale University publication entitled "Ringtones, or the Auditory Logic of Globalization" by Sumanth Gopinath recognised the company as being the first to market ringtone customisation services.
Partering with txtNation has allowed PhatTonez to solidify their position as the best and most original place to by tones online.
Michael Whelan, txtNation Director, "James approached us back in early July, 2006. I was familiar with his site and concept and liked what his team was doing. A proposal for us to power his tones and provide billing / delivery was put forward. Within two days we powered PhatTonez."
James Winsoar, self-proclaimed "King of Ringtones," as well as always offering the latest and best tunes for mobiles, has personally introduced several other major ringtone innovations upon the world, including XtraVibrate, the phone vibration maximiser, intended for people who want to know when their phone is ringing in noisy environments.
According to James Winsoar, "Ringtones not only help you stand out from the crowd and musically express yourself, they are essential for people like the visually-impaired. When you go into your address book you can select different tunes for different callers. So when you hear 'A Spoonful of Sugar' you know it's Mary ringing!"
PhatTonez has been supplying consumers with the choice of incoming ringtone for the past 7 years. Whilst other companies have failed, Phat Tonez has survived huge competition as a small company who prides itself on providing high quality ringtones and top notch service.
PhatTonez is always responding to consumer demands. James Winsoar next plans to revolutionise the industry with a new low cost 50p per ringtone download service and the ability to 'earn' free ringtones by recommending friends.
Latest research shows most people are willing to pay anything from 10p to 50p per ringtone, however, most ringtone companies charge £4.50 and upwards, often not making the cost of the download clear. This practice has led to the reputation of many PhatTonez rivals being tarnished.
