Gas Summit 2007 debates political and economical overview for LNG in the American Continent

Press Release Summary = The Gas Summit Latin America new edition will be the meeting point for the Latin American community for natural gas, bringing together government representatives from several countries, international entities, associations and executives from all Latin American LNG industry chain.
Press Release Body = Scheduled for 21st to 23rd May, in São Paulo, the event will be organized by IBC to discuss the regional politic and economic overview, private investments and real conditions of the LNG supply in the continent, with the participation of Jose Sergio Gabrielli, president of Petrobras, and Rafael Ramírez, the Venezuelan Minister of Energy and PDVSA´s president.
Regarding the initiative, the conference manager Igor Tavares says: "this new edition of Gas Summit will be more representative than the last, with a substantial grow of structure for debates and awareness by major players of its importance for the sector". The support of Olade, UN, IGU and Cadal for the event indicates its relevance, concludes Tavares.
