Press Release Body = After a 3 year long search, Virgin Wines launch their first Fairtrade range - La Riojana.
Founder and CEO, Rowan Gormley, says, "It took us a long time to find a Fairtrade wine we could feel confident about. We didn't want to jump on the bandwagon without the right wine and La Riojana was definitely worth the wait. Bringing boutique wines to our customers has always been our priority. Adding a Fairtrade certified range to our selection really is the icing on the cake for us."

The 21st century has seen a steady consumer trend towards choosing conscience over convenience but Virgin Wines have always stressed the importance of supporting ethically minded producers. Andrew Baker, Buying Director, says, "Using small farmers means we all end up with a better bottle of wine for our money. These guys have a passion and love for the wine they make, and the land they work, that you just won't find with the huge conglomerates.
