EFT often works when nothing else has.
The Global Institute of Energy Medicine a non-profit outreach project recently launched to provide meridian-based therapies to empower the Bay Area communities with new tools to achieve emotional and physical healing. The Institute is focused on reaching people suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, physical and emotional pain, and women with infertility. The Institute uses the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Reiki and life coaching in its educational workshops and private consultations to help individuals find relief from these problems.
Energy medicine is based on meridian healing systems that have been used for thousands of years in Chinese Medicine. These proven treatments like acupuncture, acupressure, massage, Reiki and EFT have been largely ignored by conventional medicine until now. With the recent success of movies such as The Secret and What the Bleep, which grossed $80 million, people are starting to pay attention to the amazing healing and life empowering benefits of energy medicine and the power of the mind as it relates to the laws of attraction.
EFT is based on recent discoveries that our unresolved negative emotions and thought patterns are major contributors to most physical pain and disease. EFT provides relief by gently tapping well-established meridian acupuncture points using your fingertips while following a specific method for tuning into the underlying emotional issues causing the "dis-ease". The process is easy to learn, and benefits are often experienced in just one session.
Top medical doctors have endorsed EFT as an effective healing modality and have recommended it to their community of followers. \"Meridian-based therapies such as EFT...can have effects out of all proportion to their cost and complexity.\" Norm Shealy, MD \"EFT offers great healing benefits.\" Deepak Chopra, MD
To kickoff its launch, the Global Institute of Energy Medicine is hosting an EFT Level 1 workshop for the general public in Mill Valley, CA on May 12, 2007. During the workshop, participants will learn the principals and application of EFT so they can immediately experience the healing benefits themselves and begin spreading the word.
About Global Institute of Energy Medicine The Global Institute of Energy Medicine is an outreach project of Temple of Light, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization located in Mill Valley, California. The Institute offers healing services and educational programs in energy medicine to assist in healing emotional and physical issues. It was founded in March 2007 by Glen A. Dunning, a 19-year survivor of terminal cancer, who attributes his remarkable recovery to the healing modalities he discovered, such as Reiki, Thought Field Therapy (the precursor to EFT), and holographic visualization.
