About Dotshape Dotshape was started in mid 2006 between its two founding members, Carina Kivisto and Kjell Karlsson. Carina Kivisto enjoyed digital design and photo manipulation and started on her own time for fun. Kjell Karlsson has been working in the large format printing industry since 1994 and liked the idea to use open source software with some customization for the web development of the R2Wall website.
