has revealed its membership is expanding rapidly in the lead-up to home information
pack (Hip) introduction says National Homebuyers.

The soon-to-be-introduced legislation will require all homeowners looking to move to
produce a pack at their own expense for prospective buyers in an attempt to improve
transparency and reduce the number of sales that fall through at the last minute.

Specifically, documents to be included in the typical Hip include an energy
performance certificate (EPC), a copy of the lease and the building\'s insurance
policy.

As industry insiders gear up for Hips implementation, more and more are turning to
the AHIPP - which supplies information to its members on Hips and the property
industry as a whole - to ensure they are fully informed.

Membership has increased by 30 per cent in the last three months alone - ensuring
the AHIPP now represents more than 50 per cent of pack providers.

\"The reality of Hips is almost upon us as the June 1st deadline looms, and an
increasing number of organisations are looking to take a more active role in this
important, house buying and selling reform,\" confirmed Mike Ockenden,
director-general of the AHIPP.

One of the country\'s leading property website owners, National Homebuyers, is
commenting that \'there is another way\'. Julian King, director of the fast property
purchase organisation, adds: \"By selling your property to National Homebuyers, not
only can you sell your property in days, rather than months, but also you will not
need to provide a Hips pack.

\"We purchase hundreds of properties by gathering our own information. Selling to
National Homebuyers rather than the High Street estate agent would save the Bristish
home-seller hundreds of pounds.\"
