Press Release Summary = Millions of pounds will be wasted by British homeowners on
home information packs (Hips) in the first year after their introduction on June
1st, it has been claimed says National Homebuyers.

Press Release Body = According to the Law Society, up to half a million Hips will be
produced by home inspectors each year which will not be used - and as each pack is
projected to cost in the region of £500 pounds, this will amount to a total
unnecessary cost in the region of £250 million..

The reason for this extraordinary excess is that Hips are rendered obsolete after a
house has been on the property market for more than six months.

Paul Marsh, vice-president of the Law Society, has also criticised the government\'s
scheme for its lack of eco-friendliness.

Despite claims that it will increase energy efficiency in homes, Mr Marsh believes
Hips will damage the environment through a surge in carbon emissions and excess
paper usage.

\"Not only is it the money it is the performance of inspectors getting in their 4x4s
driving around and producing all the sheets of paper. This is supposed to be
eco-friendly,\" he said.

Director of the UK\'s leading fast sale property company Julian King says \"We have
been receiving enquiries from customers for the last 12 months who are worried about
the introduction of Hips. National Homebuyers offers sellers a solution where a home
information pack will not be necessary, thus saving the home-seller hundreds of
pounds.

\"The total expenditure of the UK home-seller over the coming year on Hips packs will
run into millions of pounds, while they are still faced with delays, uncertainty,
