Sky Farm, located in scenic Basking Ridge NJ, is holding an Open House on June 23, 2007 to help celebrate this milestone. Spend a stress-free day in the sun enjoying the refreshing pool, hot tub, and sauna. There will a BBQ lunch and live music poolside with door prizes to be given away! Play a sociable game of Petanque, Miniten, Horseshoes, or Shuffleboard with your friends and meet some of the members to find out why they love Sky Farm so much!
Originally founded as the American League for Physical Culture, what we know now as Sky Farm began in 1929 at a meeting in the Michelob Café on 28th Street in New York City. The first brochure issued by the League proclaimed on the cover: "An Invitation to Come Into the Sunlight." Sky Farm bears the distinction of being the first nudist group in the United States to operate continuously in the same location.
Since acquiring the property in 1932, Sky Farm has functioned as a member-owned, clothing optional, cooperative. Sky Farm is open 365 days a year. Besides enjoying the facilities during the warm weather, many members come out during the winter months to walk around the property, use the sauna and enjoy the tranquility that our setting provides.
Sky Farm is a member of the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR). AANR is the oldest and largest organization promoting nude recreation in North America with nearly 50,000 individual members and 267 affiliated clubs.
