Press Release Summary = Only a Few Spots Remain for Popular PX-1 Reference Account Program
Press Release Body = Infocomm 2007, ANAHEIM, CA - June 20, 2007 -- Focus Enhancements Inc. (NASDAQ: FCSE), a worldwide leader in media management and Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless technology, reaches out to Infocomm 2007 attendees with the promotion of its Reference Account Program for the PX-1 Production Media Server. Focus Enhancements is accepting applications for the remaining seats in their reference customer program until June 30, 2007.
As the latest addition to Focus' leading ProxSys family of Media Asset Management (MAM) solutions, the PX-1 represents the industry's first entry-level turnkey MAM system that fully integrates both hardware and software into an easy-to-setup and use solution. The PX-1 and entire ProxSys family will be on display in the Focus Enhancements booth (#6400, Hall B) at InfoComm'07 June 19 - 21, 2007 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
In exchange for becoming reference accounts, chosen companies will receive a 50 percent discount on the PX-1 as well as other exclusive support and marketing benefits. In addition, participating members will receive free software upgrades for six months from date of purchase, as well as the opportunity to gain national exposure through joint marketing efforts, including case studies and press releases. The PX-1 Customer Reference Program gives participants the unique ability to exchange feedback and ideas directly with product engineers to ensure that the PX-1 meets their organization's current and future needs. By limiting participation to twenty companies, Focus Enhancements makes sure each account will receive personal support and attention.
"Great products are never born from the R&D lab alone; they are a result of listening closely and responding to user needs," said Robert Caldeira, senior product manager for Focus Enhancements. "The Reference Program gives us a fantastic opportunity to forge intimate relationships with PX-1 users and develop innovative features based on user experience in real-time, real-world environments."
Designed to service small-to-medium sized production groups, the PX-1 offers digital media professionals the ability to assign time-code-based metadata to their SD or HD video content which, when combined with its MPEG-4 proxy preview, enables lightning fast search and retrieval. Through its intuitive web browser interface, users can create projects and containers from which content can be copied, transferred, shared, or deleted.
The PX-1 can simultaneously manage up to ten concurrent clients (users) connected anywhere in the world. It supports nearly all SD and HD video formats, popular graphic and audio formats, and many data formats, including PowerPoint and Word documents.
ProxSys PX-1 is available now and starts at $19,950 MSRP for the 1TB configuration, or $9,995 for a limited number of PX-1 Reference Program applicants through June 30, 2007. Interested parties can complete an application before June 30, 2007 on the Focus Enhancements website at www.focusinfo.com, or by stopping by the Focus booth (#6400) at InfoComm.
