ABOUT AUTHOR
Originally from Greenup, Kentucky, Mark Manis has been a special education teacher
for 13 years, the last 6 have been in the Campbell County, Kentucky school system.
Mark has a bachelor’s degree in History/Radio-Television and a Master’s
degree in Special Education. Mark’s poetry has been published in the Ashland,
Ky. Daily Independent and his work was featured in the anthology Tapestries of the
Heart:Poets of the 21st Century. Mark is the editor of the electronic poetry
journal, Scorched Earth Publishing and has been married for almost 9 years. Mark
currently lives in Williamstown, Kentucky.
