titanium dioxide pigments, Huntsman Pigments, needed modular office accommodation
with the 'wow' factor fast, they turned to leading modular building provider
Portakabin to provide them with a temporary office solution.

The company employs over 2,000 people at eight sites in seven countries around the
world. Towards the end of last year it identified a need for a Customer Solutions
Centre at its Head Office in Billingham, Cleveland.

Debbie Hunter, Administration Services Manager for Huntsman Pigments, explains, 'The
challenge was to procure a modular building, very quickly, to meet our needs. We
wanted the building to have the 'wow' factor because of its high profile nature with
both visitors and staff.

'We were looking for something that we could hire, but we also wanted the building
to have a state-of-the-art appearance and be both comfortable and inspiring to work
in.'

Armed with this challenging brief to supply modular office accommodation, the
company approached their local Portakabin Hire Centre at Teesside. They discussed
their requirements with Manager Phil Dunn, who introduced the revolutionary new
Ultima Vision two-storey modular building as an ideal solution for the company's
visually striking and contemporary requirements.

Phil commented, 'As soon as Huntsman Pigments saw the Ultima Vision product, they
immediately knew they'd found what they were looking for. The company hired the
striking two-storey Customer Solutions Centre, which now houses a team of people
dedicated to developing technical business solutions for its world-wide customer
base.'

Debbie continued, 'We wanted to make a statement and the Ultima Vision two-storey
modular building was the ideal solution, providing the impact we were looking for.
The use of full height windows has created a striking view externally and offers
significant advantages for the occupants in terms of additional daylight and the
view they get from them.'

Portakabin also provided Huntsman Pigments with a full one-stop-shop service,
managing all elements of the building project from start to finish. This included
groundworks, landscaping, high quality steps, pathways, handrails, lighting and
planting schemes. The building also features a superior climate control system
installed by Portakabin AirCare and a passenger lift to help meet the requirements
of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), supplied by Portakabin Access.

Debbie continued, 'Portakabin handed over the completed centre within ten weeks. The
service we have received from Portakabin was very good, with the Portakabin Hire
Centre Manager providing good support and information throughout the project. We
were all very impressed by the high professional standards and 'can do' attitude.'

Huntsman Pigments' Ultima Vision building is covered by the unique Portakabin

will be entitled to one week's free building hire for every day it is late¹. This
