Press Release Summary: spike ivory drops red mountain records of hong kong
Press Release Body: SPIKE IVORY DROPS RED MOUNTAIN RECORDS (HONG KONG)
November 26, 2007
It was released today from the Spike Ivory camp that he has dropped his Hong Kong label Red Mountain Records. The move happened on October, 28, 2007 but was not made official until today. We recently caught up with Spike and he told us that the relationship with Red Mountain started to sour the last few months." It seemed that they were way in over their head, and started to push back all deadlines, stall production, and some other things that I would rather not get into." Spike also added that Red Mountain Records President and CEO Dan Puzny, had illegally gained access into his websites and destroyed them. "I have been in contact with the Internet Crime Commission and BMI, and am currently pursuing Red Mountain for Copyright Infrigement and Computer Hacking, and plan to pursue this matter to the fullest extent of the law." Spike also said that Red Mountain had or has no contracts whatsoever to any of the music, and are claiming false pretenses that they own the rights to the songs.. "I have all the legal documentation for my music, and basically their claims have no substance, and they also have no contracts with any other musicians that were involved with the project." Spike also went on to say that he is currently rebuilding his websites and recently signed with Southlands Records. "We are going ahead with the new album and hopefully it should be out mid 2008 followed by a tour. The success of my last album "Velvet Chains" was tremendous both on a personal level, and as an Indie Release, so from here on out we can only raise the bar, stay tuned.. I will be releasing new songs shortly on my myspace page."
