Press
Release Body: To kick start the New Year, The Harley Medical
Group has announced that it is offering patients a free
skin analysis test that reveals their true skin age.
Each
one of The Harley Medical Group’s 20 cosmetic
surgery clinics throughout the UK and Ireland has a Computerised
Photo-imaging VISIA machine - skin analysis equipment that
can reveal the truth about a person's complexion. Whether they are
35 but with the skin of a 25 year old or a 40 year old with teenage
pimples, the results of the test are used to create the ultimate
in tailor made packages to get skin in tip top condition for 2008.
As
part of The Harley Medical Group’s holistic
approach to treatment, the skin
analysis test is initially used to
highlight an individual’s skin
condition and show the areas which would benefit from a specially
selected programme of treatments.
By
taking a series of facial photographs and microscopically examining
key areas, the Computerised Photo-imaging can asses pore size, skin
unevenness, lines and wrinkles, UV spots and sun damage. The results
are then measured against an index created from data from thousands
of skin samples. The index demonstrates how the measured skin compares,
identifying problem areas and thereby allowing a corrective skin
treatment programme to be created especially for the patient, consisting
of a selection of The Harley Medical Group’s
'New Year New You' treatments, including:
Aesthera
PPx: the very latest in light-based technology which rejuvenates
skin by stimulating collagen production. A fast, pain free treatment
that eliminates the signs of aging including ‘age spots’
and hyper pigmentation marks, facial thread veins and adult acne,
with outstanding results on the décolletage and back of the
hands.
Skin
Peels: Peels are a specific technique for skin renewal,
they help reduce skin damage, fine lines, dull skin tone, enlarged
pores and hyperpigmentation including age spots.
Microdermabrasion:
a gentle treatment that exfoliates and refreshes the top layer of
the skin with a flow of fine, medical-grade crystals to improve
tone and texture. Perfect for a Winter skin boost.
Laser
Hair Removal: For fuzz free entry into Spring. A laser
is passed over the area being treated, destroying the hair follicle
and reducing further growth.
Sclerotherapy:
a simple process for spider veins which works through injection
of a solution into the vein, causing it to collapse and disappear.
Dermal
Fillers: Wrinkles and fine lines can benefit from the plumping
and smoothing effect of Teosyal, an injectable that is especially
effective for smoothing nose to mouth lines, lipstick lines acne
scars and ‘crows feet’.
The
Harley Medical Group believe that by combining the free
skin analysis test and offering tailor made packages, this could
be the ideal solution for patients to get skin in tip top condition
for 2008.
