The presentation is part of an IATA/IMO training course offered by Environmental Resource Center that satisfies the requirement for personnel who ship hazardous materials by air or water. They must receive training mandated by the International Air Transportation Association (IATA) and International Maritime Organization (IMO) every two years. Ms. Maloney will identify recent enforcement actions and identify the critical dangerous goods that, if mishandled, could cause an air disaster. The goal of the workshop is to improve safety and reduce incidents when hazardous materials are offered for transportation by air or water.
Environmental Resource Center, the leading provider of environmental and safety training, will present the mandatory training at the Indianapolis Marriott East on April 9. The class begins at 8 am and ends at 5 pm.
