CHICAGO - March 28, 2008 - Weiman Products, a leading manufacturer of home care
products, is pleased to introduce a new line of eco-friendly cleaning and polishing
products. The Perfect Planet line - a floor cleaner, floor polish and all-purpose
cleaner - features innovative formulations that are safer than conventional cleaners
for consumers, the home and the environment.

Perfect Planet products, which are made in the U.S.A., contain little to no volatile
organic compounds (VOCs) and feature vegetable and plant-derived cleaning agents.
They do not contain any hazardous solvents, toxic chemicals or other harmful
ingredients.

Carl Demasi, Weiman president and CEO, says while many of Weiman's products already
feature safe, environmentally friendly formulations, there is a clear shift in the
marketplace for products that are designated and certified as "green."

"The Perfect Planet line reflects our 65-year tradition of developing affordable,
high-quality, high performance products while also demonstrating our commitment to
meet consumer demands for eco-friendly products " said Demasi. "In fact, our
extensive laboratory testing assures that Perfect Planet products deliver the same

The EPA DfE (Design for the Environment) Program has already certified two of
Weiman's Perfect Planet products - Squeeze & Clean Floor Cleaner and All-Purpose
Cleaner. Squeeze & Shine Floor Polish is currently being tested. Products carrying
the DfE logo have been reviewed by EPA chemists, toxicologists and environmental
scientists, ensuring each product has a more positive health and environmental
profile than traditional cleaning products.

Perfect Planet Natural All-Purpose Cleaner
