Press Release Summary: The new MIC1-400 infrared camera boasts pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) offers a unique surveillance solution.
Press Release Body: UK
Forward Vision\'s MIC1-400 infrared range, part of the MIC1 or \"Metal Mickey\" series of Pan Tilt and Zoom (PTZ) cameras, offers a ruggedised surveillance solution where versatile and reliable image capture is needed both during the day and at night. The cameras are popular for installation in both permanent solutions and for rapid deployment use, where their robust nature stands up to repeated re-deployment on vehicles, poles and sentry towers.
Sharing the same features as other MIC1 series cameras, such as optically perfect viewing window, whisper-quiet and smooth operation thanks to new brushless motor technology, plus compatibility with all leading control systems and an industry leading IP68 rating for the ultimate protection against the elements; the MIC1-400 infrared range benefits from the addition of built-in infrared illuminators. These provide fully directional infrared illumination to a distance of up to 30 meters thanks to its twin semi-covert 880nM illuminator attached directly to the camera head.
A choice either 18x or 36x true day/night camera modules are available with automatic IR cut-filter for stunning colour clarity during the day and picture-perfect monochrome images at night. Activation of the illuminators can be controlled automatically either through a camera setting, via an external switch such as a photocell, or manually from the control keyboard.
Constructed from 6mm thick aluminium, the MIC1-400 infrared is built to last and offers a high degree of vandal resistance. Its unique design allows full 360 degree continuous rotation with 320 degree tilt control - what\'s more it can be installed upright, inverted or canted at 45 degrees for pole mounted applications that require the base of the pole to be viewed.
All MIC1-400 cameras come in a choice of black, grey or white, but custom colours are also available to client specifications as an option.
