Press Release Author: Bruce Jones / Animals Need Help
Industry: Non Profit
Press Release Summary: New not for profit blog is launched to help stop animal cruelty.
Press Release Body: AnimalsNeedHelp.com was born on Christmas Eve in 2007 by web designer, affiliate marketer and business blogger Bruce Jones, Stacy's husband,
Stacy was in the middle of giving an online donation to PETA, the society of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals as she has always done every Christmas in the past and turned to Bruce and said "I wish we could do more to help the animals"
Bruce answered that since he designs Wordpress blogs as part of his business why doesn't he create a new blog for her that she could write about helping animals worldwide, animal rights and the prevention of animal cruelty.
Since Bruce was a knowledgeable affiliate marketer and had the backing of hundreds of online companies they could select a few cruelty free pet supply sponsors, put their banner ads on their new website. They could donate whatever profit they happened to make from their online sales to charities that are dedicated to helping animals such as PETA and the ASPCA, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
AnimalsNeedHelp.com is a 100% not for profit blog meaning that all money that they raise will be donated to worthwhile animal related charities like the support of local pet rescue shelters.
Their website's main mission is the education of people that may not be aware of the many companies that still do animal testing, use animal's skins in the design of fashion apparel and keep animals locked in tiny cages for food or entertainment. They support the vegetarian lifestyle and let their readers know that pigs are smarter than dogs, actually as smart as a 3 year old human child but are still being cruelly mistreated by many food farms.
AnimalsNeedHelp.com is not just about the horrors of animal cruelty, they try to mix it up with funny posts about pets that will make you laugh, like "How many dogs does it take to change a light bulb?" an article that answers the question based on dog breeds or "Something keeps crashing on my computer" showing a cute little kitten taking a nap on a laptop.
There are many links to online petitions that readers can use to let their congressman and other political leaders know their feelings when comes to making decisions involving animals. There is also a "share this" button where their loyal readers can use to email specific posts to their friends or share on the social book marking sites like Digg and Stumble.
Stacy says that she really loves all animals large and small and her greatest wish would be for the world to be cruelty free. She knows she cannot change the world in one day but she hopes that her posts can help stop animal cruelty one blog at a time.
