Press Release Body: Many Britons are heading to Cape Verde, a former Portuguese
colony, with the idea of seeking paradise - and reports suggest that they are
finding it.

Located around 800 miles south of the Canary Islands, Cape Verde is sunny, warm and
has potential for investors to snap up some deals before its popularity explodes.

Paul Akwei of estate agents Noscasa told the Sun that development in the islands had
\"really taken off\" in the past two years, which is evidenced by the amount of
building going on in areas popular with tourists.

However, potential concerns about the overdevelopment of Cape Verde were recently
dismissed by Simon Walker, sales director for Off Plan Property, who explained that
it was not doomed to repeat missteps taken by other popular investment areas, such
as the Spanish costas.

Noscasa\'s Mr Akwei also claimed that the area had enough potential for capital
growth that British investors need not worry about buying in an uncertain global
financial climate.

Purchasing property in Cape Verde means putting money \"somewhere safe\", he said,
adding that it is certain to be worth more in the future.

\"Prices are low, projected returns are excellent, infrastructure is being
continually improved and there\'s a wealth of enjoyment to be had,\" he enthused.

Meanwhile, those who may still wonder about the potential of Cape Verde property
investment, may be persuaded by the words of a couple who decided to make the leap
from the gloomy skies of England to the sunny shores of an island in the
archipelago.

Dave and Trisha Hunter from Bogner Regis, West Sussex, described how they were
seduced by Cape Verde\'s charms and decided to buy a property there in June 2007.

Mr Hunter said that the value of their Cape Verde flat apartment has already
increased since they bought it and he predicted that prices will rise even further
in the coming years.

\"In four or five years property prices are going to double or even treble and if you
want it as an investment then this is the place to be,\" he told the publication.

And Cape Verde\'s many charms have been extolled by a variety of sources, from
investors to developers to tourists.

The archipelago has even been described as an alternative to the Caribbean, due to
its extremely agreeable weather; however, it may be even more appealing to UK
investors who enjoy its proximity to Britain - it can be reached in only five hours
by plane.

In today\'s world Property investment is an excellent investment option especially
investment in UK
