Commission Junction has an huge choice of different brands and products to sell, all very respected and well known. Join them as an affiliate and you\'ll get a lot of products to promote.
I advice you not to choose too many of them, i know you\'ll be tempted, but that will probably kill your advertising efforts. Concentrate in two or three programs at the most and you\'ll soon start to earn some good money. When i said being an affiliate will cost almost nothing, it means that you should spend a little bit in advertising, there are many free ways to advertise, some forums will let you advertise, and in the ones you can\'t, they still allow you to place a link in your signature. There are lots of free classifieds out there, you can also start making your own list, but that takes some time.
Another way to get high exposure is to use google adwords, use a low budget and keep close track of your ads performance, one good trick to avoid those clickers/costumers who don\'t know exactly what they want, you should be very direct in your adwords ad, i\'ll give you an example, if you\'re promoting a flat screen tv of brand \"A\", you should write directly the brand\'s name and model details, like: Brand \"A\" model XYZ HDTV, then something atractive about that brand/model and your link. That will be more specific and it will target better your costumers, the ones that already know what they want, and that will prevent you from losing money with unwanted clicks on your ads. I really advice google adwords, it\'s very effective.
There is one other thing that you can do with ClickBank, instead of being an affiliate, if you have your own product, an eBook about something you\'re good at,you can sell at clickbank, you sign up as a publisher and you just have to pay one time fee of $49 and you\'ll have affiliates selling your product, you won\'t have to do anything. Even if you\'re not an expert, but there\'s something you really like, you can hire a writer to make the research and write the book for you, i\'m not familiar with the prices, but i know it\'s not much. It\'s not that hard to make money online in the affiliate world, just a few more advices, choose something you like, choose a product with a good conversion, not just the ones with a better commission. You can do it for free or with a little investment, that will bring better and faster results.
