Press Release Summary: The Business Marketing Association of the Hudson Valley (BMA-HV) will hold its May meeting on Tuesday, May 20, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Ship Lantern Inn, Route 9W, Milton. The guest speaker will be Rich Fuqua, Senior Marketing Manager, Laerdal Medical Corporation.

Rich Fuqua started his career at IBM with degrees in Engineering and Computer Science as part of a mainframe computer design team. His desire to understand what customers actually did with the final product led him to assignments in customer service, business development and eventually, marketing. Rich was fortunate to be part of IBM's e-business launch and traveled the world evangelizing the need to change business infrastructure in order to leverage the internet.
After 25 years with IBM, Rich moved into hospitality marketing with Starwood Hotels. There he focused on Search Engine Marketing, Direct Marketing and Brand Building in a highly "services focused" organization. In 2007, Rich joined Laerdal Medical where his responsibilities include building, branding and marketing the company's new, high-growth business portfolio.Laerdal Services. Rich has certifications in Market Management and Direct Marketing and is a charter member of the Hudson Valley chapter of the Business Marketing Association.
