Press Release Summary: Jobseekers will soon be able to access and apply for hundreds of jobs in the comfort and convenience of their own home when leading recruitment website, LoadzaJobs.ie, launches Ireland's first ever Online Careers Fair.
Press Release Body: Ireland, May 20, 2008,--The new initiative, which LoadzaJobs.ie are calling a "revolution in recruitment", is set to transform the traditional jobs fair into a convenient, multimedia experience for jobseekers.
JobsFair.ie will give jobseekers access to all the benefits of a jobs fair without having to leave home. Visitors to the website will see a very similar setup to a regular job fair. They can log onto the fair, seek information on salaries, view in-depth industry profiles, download company brochures, leave CVs, register for online courses, and search and apply for jobs with some of Ireland's 'great places to work'.
Jobseekers can also listen to and download a number of Podcasts, which will have tips and tools for career development including CV and interview pointers.
"For jobseekers, they can visit several companies without leaving their desk, and avoid running into the HR manager from their company at the next stand", said Michael Wallace, Commercial Director of LoadzaJobs.ie.
The reaction to the event so far has been extremely positive among HR managers and employers, he said. "Competition on a global scale is forcing companies to look at innovative ways of both marketing and recruiting. We've created an additional tool for employers to find employees. But by adopting a traditional idea and improving it, we've made it more convenient, more effective and more cost-effective for both employers and jobseekers".
In addition, LoadzaJobs.ie is offering employers a new way to communicate their employment experience during the fair in the form of Recruitment Videos. This new feature allows employers to customise a video to accompany their job postings, giving potential applicants a real flavour for what it's like to work for a company. Some of Ireland's top organisations will enhance their employer image during the Fair by utilising this new tool.
Companies in the Pharmaceutical, Science, Healthcare, Medical and IT sectors are showcasing their job opportunities over the two-week event which runs from 19th May to 1st June on the website www.jobsfair.ie. The fair is open 24/7 and is free of charge to jobseekers. Press Release Distribution By PressReleasePoint(http://www.pressreleasepoint.com)
