New York (April 23) - As Israel celebrates its 60th year since the founding of the modern state, President George W. Bush has announced that he will be visiting Israel on May 14th and 15th to mark this auspicious occasion and will be hosting a celebration in tribute to the magnificent partnership between the United States and Israel.
Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis, founder and president of Hineni has been invited by President Bush to join his delegation for the celebration. Rebbetzin Jungreis is one of the most inspirational and electrifying speakers of the Jewish world today. She has been a pioneer in the outreach movement and is credited for bringing multitudes of Jews from every continent back to their heritage.
The municipality of Jerusalem has also invited the Rebbetzin to speak on Yom HaZikaron, the solemn day designated by the State of Israel to memorialize all of the soldiers and civilians who have fallen in battle since Israel\'s existence. The Rebbetzin will be addressing the audience in Hebrew and on the same night the Rebbetzin will also be speaking in English to a world wide web audience and a large assemblage at Heichal Shlomo, the seat of the Chief Rabbinate.
