Press Release Summary: Greek Festival Offers a Taste of Greece in Justice Illinois

Press Release Body: The Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Justice Illinois is
having its annual Greek Festival and would love for you to attend.

The Greek festival features homemade authentic Greek cuisine, pastries, drinks,
dancing, games and more! Shop the styles of Greece at the Greek Marketplace where
clothing, gifts and religious items are offered for sale by local vendors.

Enter the super raffle drawing for a chance to win $9000 raffle. Tickets are $100
each and are one of the churches largest fund raiser of the year.

Greek dancers have practiced all year and the groups will showcase their skills and
their heritage in traditional village costumes at the festival. Folk dancing has
been lost in many countries - Greece being an exception, festivals such as this keep
dancing and other aspects of the Greek culture alive.

Food offered for sale includes gyros, a savory pita filled with strips of lamb &
beef and topped with tomatoes, onions and special cucumber sauce. Souvlaki, pork and
chicken shish kabobs marinated in lemon, olive oil and spices and grilled to
perfection.

Enjoy Greek delicacies and pastries such as baklava, kataifi, spanakopita, rice
pudding and much, much more.

Special attraction this year is the live band 215 West, this 4 piece group can often
be found performing for the Chicago Bulls, Mayer Daley\'s Office of Special Events,
and Harrah\'s Casino, just to mention a few.

The public is welcome and admission is only $2 per day.
