Press Release Summary: Webinar to provide insight into how to test a trading system
Press Release Body: Hyderabad, India; London, UK; Philadelphia, Lindon, USA; July 17, 2008: AppLabs, the world's largest independent testing, quality management and certification solutions company, today announced that it will host a live Webinar entitled 'The Art of Testing Trading Platforms'. The thirty-minute event will take place on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM EDT / 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM GMT / 8.30 PM - 9.00 PM IST.
Stock Exchanges are getting more and more complex due to the rapid changes in the technology, new product innovations, investor trading strategies and the reduction in settlement cycles. Added to this is the fact that vast sums of money are traded every day, resulting in a highly pressurized business environment where technology is 100% business critical. The technology not working will never be accepted by the business, thus putting an enormous amount of pressure on the CTO/CIO to deliver first time.
In the webinar, host Ravi Gurrapadi, Head of Delivery for the Stock Exchange and Bond Market Groups for AppLabs will give an insight on how to test a trading system - from applications, data movement, latency issues, and even interfaces to third party systems - to ensure that the implementation is on time and of high quality.
This Webinar will provide critical information to people in the following roles within the Stock Exchanges and Trading Systems Environment:
- CIO/CTO - COO/CFO - QA Head - Engineering Head - Testing Professionals - Market Intermediaries - Trading Application Vendors
