Press Release Body: LISLE, Illinois, July 31, 2008 - Organizations and corporations are increasingly looking for ways to give back to their community. Now they can offer team building training while they benefit others.
The Corporate Learning Institute, based outside Chicago offers a team building training event called Build a Wagon. Companies can book an event that pits teams against the clock to build wagons in a fun yet exciting environment.
Susan Cain of the Corporate Learning Institute thinks that building wagons for kids is also a great way to build teamwork.
"The Build a Wagon event combines fun with a real need for teams to work collaboratively to build wagons for kids. When they are done, they present their wagon to each other and talk about the teamwork and communication it took to complete the building process. We then introduce a representative from a local non-profit agency who will accept the wagons on behalf of children on their caseload", Cain concluded.
The Corporate Learning Institute offers programs and services ranging from large-scale corporate events to strategic training services. Some of he Institute's clients include the Marriott Corporation, Bosch, Grant Thornton, Abbott Labs, Eisai Pharmaceutical, Allstate and Kellogg Company.
