The analyzer can be used to test the cable's capabilities for xDSL signals. This test instrument is one of the best choices for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
GAO's loop analyzer measures line cables using the single-ended test method, and tests include VAC/VDC for twisted pair copper cable, resistance, AC/DC current, capacitance, frequency response, noise and coil load. It can also be used for measuring the maximum available bit rate supported by a local loop without the need of an xDSL modem, locating bridge taps, shorts and opens, and finding any other impairments that may exist on the line.
