Jet Airways Organises Blood Donation Camp For Delhi Bomb Blast Victims

Press Release Summary: September 24,2008:Jet Airways organized a blood donation camp
at Delhi Domestic Airport on Friday,Sep 19,2008 in aid of the city blast victims.The
camp was organized in association with the Rotary Blood Bank of Delhi.

Press Release Body: Over a hundred of Jet Airways’ staff and management came forward
and participated in this noble cause.

Commenting on the airline’s initiative, Jet Airways’ Chief Executive
Officer,Mr.Wolfgang Prock-Schauer said, “As a responsible corporate entity, Jet
Airways is conscious of showing its solidarity and support for the victims of the
blasts. Given the urgent need for blood among the blast victims,we thought it was
the need of the hour and hence organised this Blood Donation Camp”.

Jet Airways has been at the forefront of several such corporate social
responsibility initiatives in the past,having participated in relief efforts during
national calamities such as the Gujarat Earthquake in 2001, the destruction left
across South and South East Asia in the aftermath of the tsunami in 2004,the
earthquake in Jammu and Kashmir in 2005 and the relief efforts for the recent
flood-hit state of Bihar.
