Press Release Body: RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif., September 24, 2008 – Democratic Presidential hopeful Barack Obama and Republican contender John McCain are lampooned on fake currency courtesy of the satirical website, Slick.com.
Issued by “The People’s Republic of Hollywood,” the new satirical Obama Three Cent Bill pokes fun at the Democratic presidential candidate’s liberal Hollywood backing and “Rock Star” status.
Why a “Three Cent” Bill for Obama? Jesse Dalton, Managing Editor of www.Slick.com says with a smile, “Obama promises change – now he’s got it!”
The McCain Three Dollar Bill labeled as a “Note of Desperation” skewers the Republican’s aging candidate. Emblazoned with “Look what we dug up!” the bill depicts McCain as a partially unwrapped mummy. Issued by “The Liberalized GOP of America” the three dollar bill conceals a number of jokes and zingers.
Dalton is a registered Independent who relishes skewering both parties. “The Republican and Democratic parties currently represent a depth of ineptitude, hypocrisy and corruption that boggles the mind,” says Dalton. “They’re both fair game,” he adds.
