Press Release Summary: More than two hundred professionals attended Socius’ annual
conference, Aspire. The keynote address was given by Archie Griffin, and
thirty-five breakout sessions were presented by Socius consultants and leaders,
software partners, and leadership training experts. The Aspire Awards were
presented to three of Socius’ clients who effectively use their Microsoft or Sage
Software business solutions to enhance their growth and profitability.

professionals from companies in and around Ohio gathered at The Conference Center at
NorthPointe in Lewis Center, Ohio on September 11, 2008 for Aspire 2008, Socius’
annual conference.

This year’s event was centered on the theme “Developing Your Personal and
Professional Game Plan” and featured a keynote address by Ohio State football
legend, Archie Griffin. Thirty-five breakout sessions dedicated to equipping
attendees with the tools to maximize success professionally and personally continued
this theme. Presented by Socius consultants and leaders, software partners, and
leadership training experts, the sessions covered a range of topics from software
specific insights to applications to hone leadership skills.

The event also featured the presentation of the Aspire Awards, recognizing the
distinguished achievements of three of Socius’ client organizations for enhancing
their growth and profitability through effective use of their Microsoft or Sage
Software business solutions. The Aspire Award winners are:

FirstMerit Bank received the Outstanding Teamwork Award in recognition of their
collaborative efforts within their organization and with Socius in expanding and
improving their ability to attract and retain customers through their use of Sage
SalesLogix software.

Reidy Medical Supply, a supplier of medical equipment to nursing homes and visiting
nurse organizations, received the Distinction in Innovation award for their unique
use of their Sage MAS 90 software to solve a complex billing and restocking issue.

Experient, Inc., a conference planning organization, received the Vision Award for
their continually keeping abreast of technology advancements over many years as a
Socius client and using those advancements to maximize their use of their Sage
SalesLogix and Microsoft Dynamics GP software solutions. Their vision in crafting
solutions to benefit their unique business needs is exemplified in their current
project with Socius to develop a data warehousing and business intelligence solution
that allows them to quickly and easily analyze their client data.
