Gloucester, MA – October 25, 2010 - Free Flow Power Corporation, a hydropower and hydrokinetic renewable energy company, welcomes the addition of Mr. Kevin Young to the company as a Vice President, Project Development.
Mr. Young has 30 years experience in the siting, permitting and licensing of hydroelectric projects throughout the United States and Canada. Mr. Young was a former Senior Vice President and Partner within The Louis Berger Group, Inc. heading their Energy Services Division. While at Berger he managed a hydro contract with the FERC Office of Energy Projects for 12 years. He is an expert in the licensing of conventional hydro, pumped storage and hydrokinetic projects that require licensing by the FERC. Over his career he has worked extensively with the FERC, utilities, and private developers. Through Free Flow Power Mr. Young will continue to offer the consulting services he was recently providing through Young Energy Services.
