Miller Homes have found awards success once again as the house
builder picked up three gongs at this year’s What House? industry
awards.
The UK’s largest independent housebuilder was awarded accolades for Best Partnership
Scheme and Best Sustainable Development for its eco project, Miller Zero in
Basingstoke and picked up a bronze award for the coveted Best Large Housebuilder.
The judges comments heaped praise on the way that Miller deals with it’s customers
when buying a house, giving them ‘a voice’ and making them ‘proactive participants, not
passive consumers’. The judges also noted the strength of their customer chart which‘leaves little to chance’.
Code for Sustainable Homes project, Miller Zero once again proved the jewel in the
crown, picking up yet another two awards. Judges pointed out the significance of
putting Government theory and green ideology into practice by building ‘a living
breathing development of zero carbon homes’.
The award for Best Partnership Scheme made clear the importance of shared learning,
as Miller Homes not only built the homes but threw open its doors to suppliers and
competitors alike, so they too could learn from this vitally important project with
their new build homes.
Sue Warwick, national sales and marketing director for Miller Homes, said: “This has
been a fantastic year of award wins and the three What House? Awards make an
exciting addition to our list of achievements. The judges comments proved the hard
work that goes into everything we do, and everything we do centres around our
customers.”
This latest batch of award wins comes just weeks after the housebuilder scooped top
gongs at the Housebuilder, Scottish Home, The Herald and First Time Buyer Reader
Awards.
Sue continues: “It is my hope that these awards demonstrate to customers that we are
the best in the business.”
